Johnny Malinak

Director of Operations | Lead Performance Specialist

With over a decade of experience in the fitness and performance industry, Johnny brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to ETS Mundelein. Growing up as a multi-sport athlete, Johnny developed a deep love for sports and competition, excelling in football and track & field during high school.

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Arizona State University, Johnny gained invaluable experience interning at the Fischer Institute of Sports Performance and Physical Therapy, working with collegiate and professional athletes. Upon returning to Chicago, he built a successful career leading and coaching athletes across various performance levels.

In 2024, he joined ETS Performance because he wholeheartedly believes in our mission: to shape and develop young athletes mentally and physically, setting them up for long-term success. Johnny’s goal is to make a lasting impact by helping athletes reach their full potential while improving the industry and creating a better future for sports performance.
